Please State The Nature of the Success!

It's Labor day weekend and that means it's time for the big debut of the Emergency Convention Hologram at DragonCon!

DragonCon is still a mixed collection of trepidation due to Covid and the excitement of seeing friends once again and our virtual avatar fit right into the space between.  

He's is always 6 feet away!  (he doesn't work if you're closer) 

He started making friends right away. One of the first things that happened was a dance off! 

Trek Trek director Garrett Wang (who played Harry Kim on Star Trek Voyager) was able to take some time to try the ECH.  He gave the highest praise of the weekend by asking if Robert Picardo was involved. 

As of this writing, the convention is still ongoing.  We made the choice to leave him running contentiously over the four day weekend.  We're half way there and he's still doing great!  

We learned a lot about what people expect from a virtual friend so we'll be updating him for his next away mission, but that's for the future. 

For now we rest and enjoy a job well done!
